Midalor 3
Why is an elf in a Gondor deck you ask? Did he come for Rivendell business and now has to run Pelargir errands? This may seem like an unlikely bond of friendship, but it turns out, Erestor is the card draw engine that makes this deck run.
Erestor will guarantee you will always have an ally for Lothiriel. Lothiriel then shuffles them back into your deck to mitigate the discard at the end of the round. Galadriel, Glorfindel, and Arwen are all excellent targets for Lothiriel since they share the noble trait.
Buy any other allies you can afford using Denethor's resource smoothing to move the resources to the required sphere.
Hard mulligan for Steward of Gondor or Visionary Leadership.
Put Visionary Leadership on Hirgon because he will not spend his resources until after quest resolution.
Pairs well with leadership Boromir in multiplayer.

Aug 20, 2025attackprowess could be done with allies, specially with Treebeard Glorfindel or Wilyador around, and much of them have att 1. would replace the Ithilien Lookout with Loyal Hound is cheaper same stats and a good safetyoption. yes, not gondor, but you have much availaible allies for Lothíriel around. would think about Double Back and Gather Information |
Aug 20, 2025Damage output is a bit on the light side. I was surprised how low attack output is for tactics Gondor allies. I tried to use tactics allies that have at least 1 attack so you could use Hirgon’s ability to boost it to 2. I like the loyal hound suggestion. I’ll have to give that a try. Those side quests also not a bad idea. |
Sweet deck! Couple thoughts: I didn’t see much damage output, none of your hero’s are heavy hitters, or does it not need it/is this deck better for less combat heavy quests? Elrond’s counsel seems nuts! I feel like threat is always a problem of BoF contract decks. You may want to slim down your sideboard or make a copy of the deck with no/small sideboard to play this on Drgncards, it can bog down your load in
