Apparently, "the last alliance" is the most broken contract around. Lately, I've seen crazy decks, pulling out some bonkers plays of the most devious kind. My version is definitely milder but nevertheless enjoyable to play. The final version includes a fan made hero from Old Bean Heroes, "Gnarlwood".

It can be replaced by Treebeard, but it won't be as effective. The deck tries to optimise the affinity between beornings and ents in managing and taking advantage of wounds. Ents should be mainly played from hand, while beorning should mainly enter from discard pile. The opposite is ,of course, also possible. Many cards can be targeted by the alliance contract: Entmoot, Osbera, boomed and trumpeted, booming ent, leaflock, and so on. I wish there was a better way to stand Osbera and Gnarlwood, than leather boots. They are decent but only in multiplayer. Any suggestion is welcome.

Song of Healing is a great include here. I recently tried Last Alliance with Gondor (traps) and Beornings and really couldn't get Giant Bears into the discard pile fast enough for my liking. Song of Healing would help the healing and give a permanent discard engine. Did you try Beorning Pony in the build?

Hi, Yes song of healing makes possible for you to heal Gnarlwood from turn 1 to draw more. Ponies I 've tried but the 2/3 tactic resources are hard to come by. Especially if you need to play cards like Beorn's welcome, Birna, and other. But they are a viable replacement of leather boots in solo games, thx for suggestion.
